Where are you working now?
University of Maryland/Sheppard Enoch Pratt Psychiatric Residency
What made you switch to a new field?
I had tried things like web design, full service agency (GG) and media buying (Harmelin), and did not have a passion. I always loved talking with people and wanted to serve an underserved population (Mental Health)
What is your favorite memory of GG?
Bear Affair and Law& Order Lunches
What advice would you give to someone who is about to start their first internship?
Go in with a goal of what you want to learn/take away, and ask to be assigned a project that the company will utilize and you can show you did at the end of the time there
What was the most helpful or important thing you learned at GG?
I learned a lot about market analysis and buying. I also learned a lot about organizing a fundraiser.
How has your experience at Gillespie helped you later in life?
It introduced me to the Philadelphia Children’s Alliance, one of the catalysts that inspired me to work in child psych
