Daylesford Abbey, located in bucolic Chester County, is home to almost thirty Norbertine Canons. The Norbertines, also known as the Canons Regular of Premontre, are a Catholic religious order of priests and religious brothers. Founded by St. Norbert Xanten in 1120 AD, the Norbertines are the fifth oldest Catholic religious community in the world.
Several months ago, Abbot Domenic Rossi, O. Praem., sought the services of an ad agency and marketing firm to promote the community at Abbey Fest, a Catholic Christian music festival held on the grounds of Daylesford Abbey.
Our work with Daylesford Abbey soon expanded to include the design and launch of an entirely new website, the execution of a Search Engine Optimization campaign and the launch of a paid search ad strategy aimed at promoting vocations for the Norbertine Community.
Check out Daylesford Abbey’s new website.
The new site is visually-driven. Yet it balances the need for significant information on a wide range of issues, from Mass times at Daylesford Abbey to vocations to the Norbertine community; from Daylesford Abbey’s Spirituality Center to programs that support the work of the community. The site is robust. It includes a dynamic calendar, internal email integration and e-commerce.
Beyond the website, Gillespie and FG3 produced a video about Daylesford Abbey and a supplemental video about vocations to the Norbertine community. You can see our video, and others about Daylesford here.
